Brought Dave, Dave, and Alex on the Susky today. 29 Smallmouth bass and about a dozen Channel Cats in the boat!

Boyd family dual captain trip today on the Susquehanna. With the help of Allen Casal captaining the other boat we had a great time! Over 60 Smallmouth boated along with around 30 channel cats! Brought Nick and Joe on the river this morning. Topwater was the name of the game today! 30 Smallmouth bass today. We also put in a few hours of catfishing and put 7 channel cats in the boat. Good job guys! Brought Clint and Chuck out on the river this morning. The old susky is running dirty lately but that just makes the cats chew! Cats were exactly what we were fishing for! 3hrs of cats and 1 hr of bassin anyway. 5 Smallmouth in the boat and 15 channel cats in the well! Brought Steve out this morning to give the high muddy water a go on the river. That was a no go so we headed to Lake Winola to try our luck. Only 3 bass and a few panfish in the boat today. Can't get them everyday. Brought Vic, Noah, and Jonah on the the Susquehanna this morning! Facing some challenging conditions they prevailed! 43 Smallmouth and one Rock Bass. The water rose about 2ft from when we started fishing! Some nice ones boated today with Jona taking big fish honors with the 19" Bronzeback he fooled today! Brought Renee and Gary out today on the Susky! The morning bite was good with some good topwater action first thing in the morning! The bigger fish were fooled by Gary but the numbers went to Renee! 54 Smallmouth and 1 Decent Channel Catfish today! Brought Bill and his father Bill. Bill senior just wanted a boat ride so Bill did the catching! There was 52 Smallmouth bass put in the boat along with a rock bass and a decent channel cat. Got to fish with my old friend Rick for a few hours this morning! 82 Smallmouth, 1 green sunfish, 1 rock bass, and 1 sucker in the boat! Biggest Smallies were around the 17" mark. No Biggins but lots of fun!
Brought Dan, Clem, and Daniel out on the Susky today. The North branch didn't disappoint either! 103 smallmouth, 1 sucker, and 3 rock bass! Great job guys! Some topwater action in the mix as well! |
