Josh again, hit the river with Nick and smoked'em again... 6 1/2 hrs of fishing and we managed 103 in the boat plus a dozen or two dinks that we didnt count. Water temp is 48 and dropping. What a awesome day! I got a bunch of video of Nick reeling in a bunch of fish with his video camera we had a blast with those strong pullin smallies!
Anderson here. I had a few unexpected free hours this morning to go and enjoy some of the river fishing. Probably put around 40 nice fish into the boat. Biggest went 3lbs and I also managed a 19" Walleye that ended up as dinner! The river is on right now and the big girls are starting to show up. I saw a few bruisers today when I was packing up, in areas that I wouldn't have thought to look. Hopefully they will be there for Josh's next trip in a couple days. Hey everyone josh here. Took out bob, greg, & greg for a 7 hour smallie trip on the susky. Hit'em pretty good we caught 92 smallies in the boat. Jigs and and jerkbaits smoked them! Had a good time and the river rocket handled 3 clients pretty good. A fun day with alot of wildlife as well. 3 deer ( two were buck) 2 deer crossed the river! Two beavers, one otter, and a red tailed hawk. Water temp was 50 degrees. Hey everyone, Josh here. Had a blast taking out Jeanie for a smallmouth beatdown on the Susquehanna October 20th. Her trip was a extended 10hr! We managed seventy six smallmouth in the boat (the dinks were not counted) also a small 15 inch pike and a baby walleye! Safe to say those smallmouth are going nuts and I am now as well lol! Total fish caught today was somewhere in the 90's, what an awesome day! Good job Jeanie and I had a blast thanks for booking. On another note some of the fish caught today had to be about ready to explode they've been eating so much lol! Hey everyone good news! The smallies in our Susquehanna have began the fall transition finally! Took John and Ed out for a six hour trip and boated around 3 dozen smallies of all different sizes. Some of the bigger fish starting to bite which is a good sign. We expect the fall bite to be in full swing by the end this coming week! On another note the water temp is in the high 50's and dropping. A great day to be on the water and a lot of fun thanks John and Ed. Hey folks josh here. Took Ian and Kim out for a 4hr trip to target musky and smallmouth. No musky to speak of but in 1.5hrs of bass fishing they managed around sixteen. A few decent fish were caught and more sightings of bald eagles! Fun day on the water and the river rocket is performing well and im getting a lot more comfortable with it. Water temp at sixty two and dropping! Hey guys josh again. Happy to say I took out Elijah and Nick today (oct 11) for a 4 hour calico trip. We managed 26 in the boat and kept 24. Got some bruisers in the mix most fish are in the 10-12 inch range and some a bit bigger. The biggest being 12 1/2 inches that catch goes to Elijah! Had alot of fun chasing them around and good job guys they were a bit picky today... water temp is 64 and cooling down. I almost forgot to mention a bonus largemouth Nick caught on a ultra lite crappie rod, about two pounds and put up a good fight! Hey everyone Josh here. Took Bill and Bob to the Susky for a 6hr smallie trip. Upon arrival we noticed muddy water and the river temp dropped six degrees since Monday. We launched at Tunkhannock launch and fished around our area without much luck. Used the river rocket to cover water it became a search to find fish. We found those buggers pretty good up stream a couple of miles and good numbers to. We managed 17 smallies in the boat mostly small fish but fair action when we found them. Not a bad day and hats off to Bill and Bob for fishing hard! And a big plus multiple sightings of Bald Eagles!
Hey folks josh here. I took Chris out for a 4hr trip to the Susky. Fish could be found shallow and caught on jigs and soft plastics. Managed around 16 fish in the boat all smallies plus a bonus walleye! On another note the water temp is back up to seventy and the fish are back in the summer habbits for now. Next weeks weather should seal the deal for the fall bite! Anyway a good day on the water and it was my first voyoage on the river rocket with a client. Everyhing went well and thanks again chris!
