My brother and I hit the the Susquehana again on Saturday.  We were out there from 7:30am-2:15pm.  We ended up with around 60 smallmouth bass in the boat and 1 small walleye.  We managed alot of fish in the 14-18" range today.  I posted up a few pics in the photos page of the bigger fish.  We were catching them today on jigs(soft plastics and hair), jerkbaits, and crankbaits.

Hit the Susquehanna today with my dad.  He left early but I stayed to keep catching them!  The day ended with 104 smallmouths in the boat, 1-20"+ walleye, and one small bluegill!  The bass were mostly in the 12-14"  range but I did managed to land 1, 3lb  fish and 1, 4lb fish.  Check out the photos page to see the pics!

Had fun out there today on Fords Lake with my father-in-law.  We ended up with over 100 fish today.  A few gills, a couple perch, a few bass, and mostly crappie.  We kept 12 big crappie for the freezer.  We fished for bass for about an hour and found 5(12-14"), nothing big though.  We went back to  fishing for the crappies, they were just biting too good!  Check the photos page to see a couple 14" crappie we kept for the freezer.

Stevens Lake and the Susquehanna River

Fished Stevens Friday(water is still very low so we did it in my fathers Jon boat), we managed 36 largemouths and 1 Carp.  The biggest largemouth was about 4lbs.  Hit the river for a few hours Saturday morning all by my lonesome and managed 33 smallies in few hours, nothing big though, mostly 12-15" fish.  Hit the river Sunday afternoon with my brother and we lost count but figured around 50 fish with a little better average size than Saturday morning, biggest was 17-18".  The fishing is awesome right now!  I even caught a sucker on a hair jig!
