Had fun out there today on Fords Lake with my father-in-law. We ended up with over 100 fish today. A few gills, a couple perch, a few bass, and mostly crappie. We kept 12 big crappie for the freezer. We fished for bass for about an hour and found 5(12-14"), nothing big though. We went back to fishing for the crappies, they were just biting too good! Check the photos page to see a couple 14" crappie we kept for the freezer.

I was never close to my father-in-law. We were never given the chance to bond or have at least a short conversation but we have a good and stable relationship. I feel envious. Because you can do those fun stuff with him. Fishing is such a good situation for you to know someone better. By the way, I can sense that you had great time fishing with him in Fords Lake.
