Brought Stan and Larry on the River on Sunday morning. We were hoping the topwater bite would be good but all the fish would do was slap at it, so we had to catch them with a jig! 34 Smallmouth in the boat. No slammers but they put a few keepers in the boat! We had a good time! Love fishing on that River!

Anderson, I'm not sure if this is normal practice for you but as a responsible guide you should be practicing catch and release only. It is bad enough that we have the catch and kill ratio we have from local pressure but to put clients on fish to be taken from our system is irresponsible. I have more than a dozen times refused to take people out that insist on keeping their catch and refuse to profit from our fragile river system. Leave a Reply. |
