I had the pleasure of guiding Danny this morning on Lake Winloa. Danny wanted to learn some stuff about summer time panfishing to apply on a future camping trip. So I showed Danny the tricks I use and we caught a handful of really nice bluegill and some decent perch on the stuff that was working. Then I showed him other techniques and tricks that weren't working as well. With about an hour and half left we switched gears and I showed him a few things about sumertime bassing, we only caught a few small ones but catching wasn't really the focus(we also had divers in one of my best spots, so they kind of messed up those areas fishing wise).

Brought Rocky out on a guided trip. As usual Rocky was a great customer and he caught them pretty good today. We put around 20 largemouths in the boat. We didn't get any big ones this time but they are all still fun. The fish ranged from 12-16" Rocky and we shared some fishing stories and a few laughs.
Took out Mark and Kevin on a trip to try and get them on a Musky. The river did not cooperate however and the water rose and got muddy! A lot of time the muddy water will turn them off. I think we only put 3 small smallmouth bass in the boat. Kevin did get a few exciting blow ups on a topwater before dark but no hookups. I still had a great time guiding them and they were great clients.
Found this article on Bassmaster.com. The river is an awesome fishery!
http://www.bassmaster.com/node/99842 I went down to the River in Tunkhannock with my wife for about an hour or 2 right before dark. We had some fun and caught a few smallies, biggest went about 2.5lbs. I had on a nice muskie probably pushing the 40" mark but after a long fight his teeth found my line and he was gone! The river is just plain fun!
Slowly but surely I am getting things done here. I put my logo on my truck today! One day I will probably make bigger graphics for the rest of the truck. But this should do for know. Click here to check out the photo!
Hit Stevens with my Dad and brother for about 3hrs this evening for some fun fishing. The grass is definitely thick there but the fishing is still good. We caught about a dozen bass. Most of them 12-14" and 2 over 15". Biggest went around 17". We were catching them on just about whatever we threw. 10" worms, senkos, flukes, jigs, swimbaits, spinnerbaits.... Sure was fun catching them with my Dad and Brother!
Just got my guiding service logo in the mail. Hopefull I will be able to get it on the truck soon! I will post a pic on my facebook page when I get the graphics installed! I am also considering getting a much bigger and more capable boat for next year....as long as I get a enough clients by the end of the year I will probably get one for my clients to relax and have a good time in as much comfort as possible. This bigger boat will also allow me to take up to 3 people out on a trip!
Brought out Jamie and Paul on a 6hr charter on Sunday afternoon. I brought them down to Lake Carey to show them around the lake a bit and introduce them to how we catch them up north(they are from the South). We had a great time out there and probably joked around just as much as we fished, LOL. I think we probably put between 15-20 bass in the boat. They were all small though with the quality fish simply eluding us yesterday. That's fishing!
Fished the Bassbandits tournament at Beltzeville state park. I ended up taking 1st place and lunker! Fishing was tough but I managed to find them and figure them out early!
